Restrict delivery when contract is over/expired

Dear All,

In sales order have create with ref to contract with full quantity and delivery happens with partially but after contract is over goods issue happening.

Please suggest, how can i restrict goods issue when contract is over.

You need to contol creation of delivery notes for sales orders that were created when the contract was in validity period and posting goods issue for an existing delivery note that was created when the contract was in validity period, but expired now.

When creating delivery note with reference to a sales order, the routine for copying requirements should check whether the contract of the reference sales order is expired or is within validity period. This will stop creation of delivery for a sales order when the original contract's validity already ended by that date. But, to stop GI for already existing delivery notes, it requires enhancement in the delivery program.

Hi Deepak,

Question is little confusing, you are saying Contract is referred to Sales order and dropping delivery

But once contract expires you want delivery to be restricted ?

But from expired contract or fully referred contract are you able to create sales order ?
