Hi,
While performing ST-PI patch update on SAP ECC systems. We got open extraction data requests and open transport requests in the import queue. Shall we skip these both steps or do we necessary to check with ABAP team for transports and open data extractions request in the queue?
Thanks and Regards
Subramani S
Hi Subramani
Better you can get the confirmation for ABAP team for Transport request. and also you have to clear the BI extraction delta queue should be 0.

Hi,
"Technically, the objects for ST-PI Support pack are stored in separate
namespace. So you can skip the error message and continue with the
import of ST-PI SP."
As per SAP Note 1228898 data extraction during ST-PI update can be
ignored.
You can click "SKIP" button when do upgrading or patching ST-PI(ONLY)
there is no need to check the extraction queue. This is required only
of PI, PI-A or PI_BASIS is involved. Therefore this check is not
required.
So,you may consider it as a warning message, and ignore the
statement for "Phase CHECK_REQUIREMENTS" and go on import your SP,
if you want.
However, if you want to be 100% sure, I would recommend to consider
emptying the setup tables and queues nonetheless, as per note 1081287.
Please read carefully the following notes:
1083709 - Error when you import Support Packages
1081287 - Data extraction orders block the upgrade process
328181 - Changes to extraction structures in Customizing Cockpit
