I'm trying to install Sap Netweaver2004s and I need some guidance

My aim is to install XI

1- I installed Sap Netweaver Solution manager

2-I studied Netweaver installation document. I saw it nearly the same with solution manager installation documment. Netweaver2004s SR2 document says me the things that I have already performed in solution manager installation (install oracle, kernel settings, intallation directories settings, use sapinst..etc.).I feel a bit confused.

What must I do briefly?

Hi Cemil

To intsall XI you need a abap engine to be installed.Yes you are right if you have inslatted solman it is neraly the same.I mean the installation steps might look similar.But you will know the differences if you install it yourself once.Refer to http://service.sap.com/instguides.There you get the installation guides for all sap products.
