Empty Alert triggers but no failed message found in moni

Hi All,

Alert message from sap pi sytem workflow system, error category: error code : message id : sender informationservice:interface: namespace.

Above error message comes but no failed message found in moni. What could be the reason and how to handle. Please help.

Hi Amit,

Thread was good. But doesnt seem related what I am looking for. If such alerts triggering doesnt make sense. So can I remove them ? But for that we must place a valid reason why they are triggering. What could be the possible causes.

Hi All,

One reason for such error is container not filled. But If no fail found in MOni or adapter engine, what can we do to avoid them or then why such messages triggered.

Hi,

Kindly check "Long and Short Text" tab..

Under "Long Text" box check your entry if it having elements with ABAP Dict. Data type entry or not.

Hi Aamir,

In Long Text, entries are maintained. But container is empty.Here I am in support so cannot do much like test and check. My one more concern here is even If I receive such error message as a Issue, but correspondingly no failed message found anywhere. So cant we do to let them not trigger or why then such messages getting triggered If no fail found.

Hi Kanisha,

Long Text entries won't work until you add entries to Container.

Add the corresponding entries in Container as well.

Hi,

I have checked tcode ALRTCATDEF and found that long text is maintaining same information but container is not loaded or empty. At times when such alert error statement appears, one line say xyz.servername comes. Then I checked the INterface correspondingly which is having 5 INterfaces in It. Difficult to track such Issues and no error in MOni . Not affecting business so we just closed the Issue

whenever It comes.

My concern is can we do something to avoid such alerts to trigger and anything else/ any settings.
