Hi Everybody,
I am creating a service request. i assign a vendor. i now want to assign a service agent. but this part is greyed out. i have no display of a service agent for me to assign.
What should i do to be able to assign a service agent?

Hello Vidya,
Is this vendor you are assigning is replicated from ECC or locally created?
In SRM local creation through "Manage business partners" on "Personal Data" tab there is a option to declare the employee same as a service agnet also.
This can be one of the reason for yr issue
if the said circumstances match.

I am using a local vendor. I checked under manage business partner. I was unable to find out if this persong was a service agent or not (i did not find the check box anywhere).
so i created a new vendor. while creating a new vendor i was able to see check boxes. hence i ticked the box for service agent.
but when i again go into this new vendor i dont see the check box displayed anywhere. hence i am unable to make out if this person has been given the rights of a service agent or not.
could you tell me where i am supposed to look for it?
(the personal data tab appears for me when i craete a vendor and not when i display the vendor after creation).
