Logon not possilbe (error in license check)

Dear All,

kindly help me when i login to our BI server with other user its give me license check error,

and when i am login to SAP* the login screen is hang and didn't response

i have also run the following step

sqlplus /nolog

conn /as sysdba

Delete from sapsr3.usr02 where bname='SAP*' and mandt='001';

commit;

but when i am login to SAP* the system is not responding.

urgent help required.

i didn't make changes in host file

i have run the following command when SAP* is locked.

sqlplus /nolog

conn /as sysdba

Dear Atif,

thanks. Dispatcher cannot connect to port 3901, this is the the port of message server for internal communication. Please search for dev_ms, message server has troubles.

Hello Atif,

is this really dev_ms and not dev_ms.old? If yes, then the message server was not started at all, because the last entry is from 22.Juni and it say the message server stopped.

How exactly you are starting the system? Does the message server run in an ASCS instance?

and i am start the listerner then i have startsap

but with "startsap DVEBMGS00 bibobj" you have started only dialog instance. You should start ASCS instance too.

Did you understand the root cause of the error.

As your ASCS was down , so sap was not able to recognize the license.

Hardware key which was used for license is of the host where your ASCS is installed.

Taken care of ASCS message and enque server services configuration in ASCS instance profiles and started the application. License check issue resolved.

Please check following points

DIR_INSTALL = /sapmnt/<SID> - In instance profile

HOSTNAME entries in relevant parameters of  - Default and Instance profiles

All mount points have sufficient free space

Check all the tablespace mode it should be read - wright

Check ASCS instance is working fine

Hi,

Please do following:

sqlplus /as sysdba

Delete from sapsr3.usr02 where bname='SAP*' and mandt='000';

commit;

delete the user from 000 first, then try to login into 000 with sap*.

Now apply license in 000.

This will solve your problem.

Its a problem with hosts file.

check the hostname ip

ping <hostname>

and then check the ip maintain in hosts file against the hostname.

not sure. Where in the trace you have found, that there is a problem with the hosts file? "Connection refused" means, that nothing is listening to the port from the error message, becasue the program is not running.

Give a full restart to system and be sure no issues related with your hardware.After complete restart first check the hardware usage,if any irrelevant things happening on then try to solve it first.

the work porcess tries to connect to the port 3201 on the host 192.168.0.27, port 3201 is used by the dispatcher, could you please check dev_disp, what is wrong with the dispatcher?

If the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to 1 (which is default) then you wont be able to logon as SAP*.

0: Automatic user SAP* is permitted

1: Automatic user SAP* is deactivated

Dear Atif,

if you do not have an ASCS instance, then it is located in the working directory of the central instance under /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGSXX/work, if you have an ASCS instance, then it is located in the working dircetory of the ASCS instance under /usr/sap/<SID>/ASCSXX/work.

Or you can just search for the trace dev_ms with "find" command.
