Copy Inspection Results - valuation missing

Hello QM- Gurus,

I have a problem with the function Copy Inspection Results.

In SPRO I have defined Maintain Settings at Plant Level following:

I have also specified in the following point "Make Settings for Copy of Inspection Results":

The source inspection lot exists and is successfully completed with the usage decision.

With the creation of the delivery, the inspection lot is created with the inspection type 10.

By calling the transaction QE51N the dialog source inspection lot will specify.

All Results from Source are copied, but the Valuation is missing:

Why is the valuation not taken over?

Please check the setting of valuation mode in Sample procedure(QDV2) maintain

Valuation mode: attributive inspection according to nonconforming units

, which are used in inspection plan.

In the Inspection Plan are assigned 9 characteristics.

None of the characteristics is defined with the sampling procedure.

Are they automatically valuated in the source inspection lot?

i don't believe you an have automatic valuation without having a sampling procedure assigned.  Otherwise, how is SAP to know you are done sampling?  For the copying of results it seems like you shouldn't need it but I think you do.  To test, set up one MIC with a procedure of a fixed sample size of one and see what happens with that characteristic.  It should close and lock provided you have automatic close on.

Hi Craig,

I have created an inspection characteristic with sample procedure.

This characteristic I have assigned to inspection plan.

The automatic valuation is successfully copied to this inspection characteristic.

I will change the other characteristics of this sample procedure.

I have activated this option - see my image 2 (Make Settings for Copy of Inspection Results)

Valuation is missing, but why?

The single Results are valuated - but the summary Results the valuation is missing.

Does anyone have an idea?

select the frst MIC Open the lock valuate it make Accept or reject as it seem that you have not valuated see first column Accept or reject check box is blank

My Problem is, I would not do it themselves. The program should do that or accept automatically.

No, unfortunately the valuation after you save is not made.
