After a server crash and restoring his database (SQL Anywhere 9.0.2.2451), my customer gets the following:
Internal database error ***ERROR*** Assertion failed: 201819 (9.0.2.2451)
Checkpoint log: invalid bitmap page -- transaction rolled back
SAP support is not available for this version. I have worked through a document called "Database Recovery" and a document on recovering from assertion errors. This error comes up immediately as you attempt to connect to the database. There is no LOG file recovered.
Anybody know any magic that I could use to help my customer.

Technical support is still available. Engineering support, as in the delivery of new bug fixes, is no longer available, but that does not mean you can't get tech support which is a different service altogether.
