FPI4 Interest Invoice

Hi All,

In FPI4 ( Interest Invoice documents ) for 2 interest documents there exist  2 levels of documents one is related to, posted by Interest Run of document type Invoice and the other documents are of type General Documents whose debit items interest value is calculated... Pls suggest why the general documents are been posted in FPI4 ( Interst Invoice Doc ).

Prior to this 2 Interest invoice documents all other interest invoice  documents are consist only of documents posted by Interest Run.

Because of this General Documents ,Interest is been calculated for the debit items of general documents which leads to big Interest amount.

Now the Interest is = ( Interest amount posted by Interest run + General documents debit items Interest amount )

What may be the reason the general documents are posted in FPI4 ?

All suggestions are appreciated.

Hi Imran.

Can you give more information on this? Are the interest configured as statistical or real postings? What exactly is in the GL document? Have you configured interest locks? Screenshots of the documents could also help determining the reasons.
