Hello Experts,

We are upgrading from PI7.0 to PO7.4 system.

Here we have exported some of the specific objects(Mapping objects) from PI7.0 Quality system and trying to import in PO74 Dev system.

While try to import it was giving success, but when I look at the objects they are not available.

Can someone please tell if there is any workaround for the same.

Thanks

VR

Hi,

If the error message points to SAP Note 1682620 - then update SERVERCORE.SCA to Patch Level, which includes the fix attached current SAP Note (1785554). Check SP Patch Level section for details.

This particular fix does not depend on other SCAs.

However, keep in mind that SERVERCORE has dependant Software Component Archives (SCAs):

BASETABLES

ENGINEAPI

VR,

1. Can you check the Cache status, if Properly updated.

2. Can you try finding the object from Find option.

Sendhil,

Those objects are already exist and would like to revert the version.

So if I find also can get, but the version is not getting reflected which means that the objects are not getting imported.

Thanks

Just a thought ->Before exporting the older version from the source system, just make some dummy changes to it which should reflect the modified date as today. Then create a new tpz file and try importing to see if that works.

Dear  V.R

Since version is different the namespace is not featuring. Please follow the mentioned steps:

1. Please edit the SWCV. Check the screenshot.

2. Edit the namespace definition and maintain the previous namespace(on the old version) in the new version as well.

Please find screenshot.

Hi V R,

Can you check if the swcv ID is same in both old and new system?

If not you can edit the same in SLD and try reimporting.

Hi Hareesh,

It is same as in both the systems. But still the same issue, not getting imported.

Hi VR,

You have to add Namespace Definition Checked while creating TPZ file, else the objects will not be visible.

Hope this helps.

Hi V R,

Can you try exporting along with depends objects such as Message Type n Data Type..?

Hi Hareesh,

Already the Interface objects are in place and is the reason we are doing only the mapping objects now.

You want me still add those and try in importng?

Yes.  i would suggest you to create a new tpz file containing all the objects IM,MM,SI,MT,DT and try importing..

If there are no other objects in that namespace..you can even export all the objects under namespace.

Hi VR,

I too had faced this issue while moving from PI 7.1 to PO 7.31 and I had to get SLD transport to bring all in synch.

Thanks
