Hi experts,
I started my ECC 6.06 system after an upgrade, and it work fine.
But, after a second, some WP died and appear in the trace: sapgw00 not found... of course, the service sapgw00 is in the file services
Any idea?
I upgrade the kernel.
It is a single server (not a cluster)
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Solved reinstalling.

sorry, but this is a problem in Windows Server 2012.
Reinstalling will just temporary remove the problem.
You need to apply MS KB Article 2770917
See also SAP Note 1777563
kind regards

Hello Victor,
can you resolve sapgw00 service with niping without problems:
niping -v -S sapgw00
You can also try to set gw/resolve_phys_addr = 0 as a workaround as per note:
987317 Gateway inaccessible due to name resolution
could you please attach dev_rd? Can gateway correctly resolve hostname and its service in dev_rd?
regards,
Alwina

Hi Victor,
1) Check whether Database is running
2) Check the details from the log dev_w0 ?
3) Check R3trans -d
4) Check free space on the server

Hi,
Check whether sapstartsrv is running or not? What it says if you do R3trans -dx?
