RFx Response Surrogate bidding

Hi,

When I try to create a RFX response for the RX, Since the
Surrogate bidding is activated for that Bidder.

   Buyer try to create the RFx Response :

         -- The Reponses activity tab the ‘Response on behalf’ button is
not enabled.

    There is any specific role need to be maintained for the
same.

Kindly advice on the same,

Hi Tamil,

You also need to set a permission on the Security Profile.  Most often this is done on the Purchaser or Purchaser Manager profile.  Another common approach is to have a separate Security Profile just for this permission.  The users then that need to be able act on behalf of the suppliers need to be assigned the Security Profile that has the permission.

Hi Tamil,

You need to go to:

Setup > System Administration > Security Profiles

You need to find the profile that you want to add the permission to and open it up and then (be sure you are in Edit mode):

1.  Go to the Access Rights tab

2.  Go to the Users and Security access rights (in "Show Only" change it to Users and Security)

3.  Go to the User Impersonation For External User and set the permission to "Allow"

You will need to have System Administrator type of permissions in order to do this or go to you System Administrator.
