[PPM] DPR_PROJECT Table in ERP / SOLMAN

Former Member

Hi Experts,

More a question on how PPM is running than an issue

Our system landscape is made of SAP ERP and SAP Solution Manager.

We made the configuration in Solution Manager so everything OK.

We also made the integration PPM / CO / PS / CATS.

Now I am wondering : what is the link between DPR_PROJECT tables in the ERP and in Solution Manager ?

If am right, they should be identical as Projects are transferred from PPM to CATS in the worklist ? If yes, what is the function module / program called to transfer the entries ?

Best,

Florian

Hi Florian,

Few questions..

1) Where is PPM addon in installed..ERP or Solution Manager?

2) Are you trying to integrate PPM with Solution manager?

You can have a look at the below links also.

Hi Ravi,

Thanks for your answer, PPM is installed on Solution Manager and we already made the integration with ChaRM (which is running well)

In fact the problem is I try to send timesheets from CATS to PPM thanks to DPR_CATS_CPR_TRANSF program.

For now, we have the PPM projects in the worklist of CATS.

The problem is both tables DPR_PROJECT & CGPL_ENTITY in the ERP are not identical to the same tables in SolMan.

So the program cannot retrieve the PPM projects from SolMan.

Should PPM be installed as well on ERP ? or is there any component / services to be activated ?

I may miss a step..

Best,

Florian

Hi Florian,

No, PPM need not be installed on ERP, its only an integration.

You can refer the below presentation for details.

If your project tasks are appearing in CAT2 list, then have you confirmed these task with times?

You can also refer to the below thread for CATS-PPM integration, where step-by-steps process is explained.
