Hello,
We have enabled and configured SSL in our SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.1 SP02 environment (both Tomcat, SIA and Web Services) in server and client computers. SAP BusinessObjects BI Launch Pad, CMC and all client desktop tools are working perfectly (via SSL) except SAP Lumira (version 1.15.1) which can't connect to BI Platform when we want to retrieve data from Universe.
An error is the following: Could not connect to Central Management Server (CMS).
This error appears in the client computer from which all other BI Platform client tools are working perfectly using SSL environment.
Any help or suggestions are very welcome.
Looking forward your comments.
Best regards,
Donatas
Hello Donatas,
Would you please have a look at this KBA and see if it may apply? I am not sure if it does, but it lists the same error message.

Hello, Tammy,
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we are not using nor WinAD, nor SSO and Kerberos. Our issue is related with SSL.
By the way we can successfully connect to BI Platform from SAP Lumira when SSL is not enabled in BI Platform.
Is there any documentation or resource how SAP Lumira should be additionally configured after BI Platform is configured with SSL? I could not find any information in official Lumira docs.
Thanks,
Donatas
Hello Donatas,
I can't find information on SSL either.
This note has helped with SSO and Lumira http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/352295 but if that doesn't help I recommend opening an incident with SAP Support.
Hello, Sharon,
Thank you very much for your answer. Now I understand why I couldn't connect to BI Platform from SAP Lumira.
Yes, I confirm that we have enabled SSL on Web server (server.xml), Tomcat configuration, SIA and also set SSL for Client tools. From IDT, Web Intelligence, Dashboards and other Client tools I can successfully connect.
One exception is Explorer - it displays me an error while connecting via SSL (http://scn.sap.com/thread/3576102).
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Donatas
