Using SPC in MEv15

I am trying to run the SPC feature using ME v15 ( MII 15 setup is completed)

Getting the below message -

Statit SPC server is not running
(Message 19678)

I know that ME v15 uses MII SPC engine. Please let me know the procedure to start
the SPC server or please suggest what I am missing ?

Hi,

Please ensure that you have cleared LOCALHOST from the Statit system rule field in system rules maintenance.

Also Log into * site and ensure that you have enabled the Override checkbox for the Statit system rule.

Hi Steve,

You mean to say that -  clear the "LOCALHOST" from the site value coloum or Global Value coloum ?

current setting at my site is as shown in the picture ( Site Value is Blank and the Global Valus had LOCALHOST)

Note - As I can edit the site value for rule "Statit Server Host Computer Name" ( which is blank now and as per the setting mention in HOW TO GUIDE it should be blank)  then overridden box must be  checked at Global site level. Any comments ?

Hi,

Yes that is correct.  Since it is set at the * site level. The rule at the * site must have the overridable check box ticket with the statit server name blank.

1. Log into * Site

2. Enable Overridable Checkbox for Statit system rule. Leave rule blank

3. Log into your site

4. Clear LOCALHOST from statit system rule field.
