Problem in configuring mail services

Hello all,

I am configuring my system for automated mail sending.

WebDynpro provides functionality to incorporate such services.

I have followed WebDynpro guidelines for creating a mail service, but while entering WSDL description as

http://webservices.matlus.com/scripts/emailwebservice.dll/wsdl/IemailService

it gives error saying , please enter proper WSDL.

I also tried to download the same WSDL on local machine and pass it as a parameter. But while compiling some classpath error appears.

Please guide me on that.

HI,

Seems to be problem with the URL.Please check once again weather its returning proper WSDL file or not!

Try with some othher webservices. If it works then problem with your URL.

Problem could be with the NetWeaver stuido also.Let me know the version.

Hi,

As you can see the wdsl file in the browser when you type the URL, I don't think it is a problem with the URL.

To check if it is the problem with the NetWeaver Studio you can check it with a web service in the local machine or the server. I think there are some examples webservices like car rental services that come with the installation.

From what I learnt from one of my senior is that it might be a problem due to the proxy connection that you use to connect to the internet. Please verify if the proxy allows you to use the web service.

hi Ashutosh ,

In the link you have given the wsdl does not seem to have a .wsdl extn.

For example http://api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl is a valid wsdl file.

Try getting the proper wsdl file and check if the extension is there. And proceed with the wsdl description

Hello Bharathwaj!,

If you type this URl in the browser, it gives a WSDL structure.
