Setting IT performance report in Solman

Hi,

We are trying to set up IT performance reporting in Solution Manager. BI client is same as production client. The Info objects are not getting activated. The job fails with the message to use a different BI client.

SOLMAN SM37 Job log:

Hi,

025 is the current production client, means the same client which you are running solman_setup.

If you are sp5 and above Check the table RSADMINA the field BWMANDT is it pointing the current Production client (025) if not  please change and run again.

You can change by running functional modules refer SAP ITSM Analytics on SAP Solution Manager 7.1 - SAP IT Service Management on SAP Solution Manager -...

Thanks for your reply.

Our Solman has only early watch and system monitoring in place currently in the same client, and now we are planning to implement IT performance reporting also going in the same client-Reason is we have only 1 system to be monitored.

We have tried to do this set up using your blog to set this up - http://scn.sap.com/community/it-management/alm/solution-manager/blog/2013/05/21/my-experience-on-set...

Please find attached Content activation log. I have reviewed the marketplace to search the notes for this error, but could not find any.Could you please check and let us know if any steps are missing.

Hi Manju,

The issue is due to inactive object in the infocube .

Please check the note: 1110013 - ST: Manual activation of BI Content for E2E Diagnostics SP13 attachment . it will help to activate the inactive object.

or

Go to basis configuration -> step 5. configure automatically ->re-excute the Activate BW Source System. so it will reactive the infocube.

Hi,

The issue is fixed, by manually activating from Infocube in RSA1, and the CCMS job ran successfully. We have extracted the report successfully from a single node.
