Consuming an Easy Query

All,

In transaction SEGW I have create a new project.

On Data Model I do right-mouse click -> Redefine -> BW Query Service

     Access Type:          Controller for Easy Queries (SAP BW)

     RFC Destination:     A RFC destination pointing to the same system.

     Catalog Name:     Left empty 

     Query Name:     I press F4 to get a list of queries.

I get the message "No queries available in the selected system. Try with an other RFC. Destination".

There should be at least one "easy query" available.

What do we do wrong?

Hi,

As the queries might not be available in your local  GW system, it is correct that you are getting this error. you may have to connect with SAP BW system as mentioned in this blog

Hi Paul,

  Please check if you have some easy querries defined in the system whose RFC you have used.

The system whose RFC you are using should have BW

You will get the error message   "

No queries available in the selected system. Try with an other RFC. Destination" if there will not be any easy query.
