Encryption /Decryption in SAP PI 7.0

Hello Friends,

We have the scenario of file to file with PI 7.0 in between.

Requirement is we need to encrypt the file and then send it to destination using SFTP adapter.

As we have not done this in past in PI 7.0,So can any of you provide any help on this.

Hello All,

Our client has agreed to buy Advantco PGP solution.So I think with that our problem can be solved.

Hi Naveen,

I think you should to advice your client to migrate to upper version of PI. You can skip to buy this adapter and the improvement and extras PI improvements will be important.

Hi Naveen,

You can't use the standard PGP encryption/decryption module provided by SAP .

Couple of options for you.

1)Increasing patch level to 7.1 SP8

2)Writing custom module/Java mapping for PGP encryption/decryption .-->Though choice.

3)Buy PGP modules from 3rd parties that can be used in your adapter to do the enc/decryption like Advanco(Advantco PGP Solution for SAP NetWeaver® XI 3.0, PI 7.0, PI 7.1, PI 7.3, PO 7.31and PI 7.4 | Advantc...) -->recommended because maintenance headache will be taken care by advantco it self.

For your reply but this is for PI 7.3 i guess. And we have 7.0 version of PI.

Please can you something relevent for 7.0.
