Default batch selection for the Header material

Hi,

we have the batch number assignment production in auto component manufacturing industries,

Our rewuirement is that during confirmation,system should automatically picked the batch of the raw material to the header materials,

If raw material batch abc,Then system should automatically picked the batch abc for the header material confirmation.

Hello Devendra,

For this you need to use enhancement as no standard config exists to transfer 'batch determined for component'. to header material GR.check with

CMFU0002  Set parameters for time confirmation and goods movement

CONF0001  Enhancements in order confirmation

CONFPI02  Process order confirmation: Customer spec. input checks

CONFPI06  Process order confirmation: Actual data transfer

>What if you have multiple components with batch?than which component

batch will be picked for header material.?

>are you using auto GI and GR at confirmation?

Hi,

We are using Auto GR and GI,

There  is not issue with batches, as upton FG stag,there is only single batch movement and there is number of operations.

At final stage,there is other child parts or packing materials require to consume and it contains no batch.

Means raw material batch no have to copy to FG material while confirmation????

If it right u can use batch derivation process for copy the batch.
