Not able to edit Company field in Mail Config

Hi,

I am working on a requirement where in 2 Companies exist under Enterprise Company and each company will have it’s own Mail configuration.

I have copied system Mail config to create new one. But the company field in Mail Config is grayed out and always defaults Enterprise Company. Is there any way to make Company field editable? Am I missing any steps?

Hi Shyam,

Since both the companies are part of same enterprise context, so the company field will take the default enterprise company. As far as I know Company field will be non-editable.

As per SAP Help "The Company field is used to create separate mail configurations for individual companies. If a specific company has no assigned mail configuration, the enterprise company is used. If the enterprise company has no mail configuration, the system default is used."  and "Webcast on Mail Config" , it is possible to create Company level mail configuration.
