Hi
My client when trying to close the WBS , and message is displayed
"Balance of WBS xxxxxxx is not zero". He has already closed the WBS
as this was a warning. His question why has this message poped up.
CJI3 reports says that the balance of this WBS element is zero and no cost is associated with this WBS.
CJI5 reports says that there is some commitment cost arising form PR and PO. Is this cost responsible for the
message to be displayed. If yes what should be done so that this message should not displayed going forward.
If there any other reason's for this message to be displayed please let me know.
Thanks & Regards
Satish
Short close your PR- PO, Flag PO as 'Delivery Completed' followed by CJEN and CJBN run.

Hi,
As per your information, there are some commitments available. Try clearing the commitments and close the WBS element.
This may be affecting since you have converted PR into PO.
We have a correction report to clear the negative commitments or incorrect commitments, search in OSS notes you will getting the same.
Also on the message front just check whether this is a warning message, if yes it will allow you to close.

Terence

Hi,
What ever you see in CJI3 might not be correct some times. There could be other reason to show up as such error message.
Please post the Error message number. Search forum with the message number so that you will get solution.
