Hi Mallik,

Every single Rulesets stand alone on their own and have dependencies as well. It contains the table data and it stores the relationships between Risks, RiskIDs, Functions etc.

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_R3: It is for table GRACSODRISKRS

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_NHR: It is for table GRACSODRISKFUNC

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_ECCS: It is for table GRACSODRISK

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_BASIS: It is for table GRACFUNCPRMEXT

GRAC_RA_RULESET_COMMON: It is for table: GRACBPROC, GRACBPROCT, GRACFUNC, GRACFUNCTand GRACRULESETT

You can easily identify with the BC-ID's  which indicate the contained rules in that particular rulesets.

e.g; GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_BASIS contains the rules related to Basis and will be in the logical connector group: SAP_LG_BASIS and then you can add the subsequent connectors in it.

Which one needs to be activated, totally depends on what all landscape you are going to consider to integrate with GRC.

Hope this answers to your query. You can refer to GRC300 for more details.

Ameet:

I am not sure where you find the tables you mention in your answer, but I feel that what you state is misleading.

GRAC_RA_RULESET_COMMON - this contains the basic data needed to build rule sets.

     Business Process ID/Texts

     Function ID/Texts

     Ruleset ID/Texts

This BC Set would be activated first when you are ready to set up your initial rule set.

The rest of the RULESET BC sets contain

Actions / Permissions for the relevant Functions for the specific area

     Risks for the relevant area

Connector Group for the relevant area

GRAC_RA_RULESET_JDE                     BC Set for AC Rules for JDE

GRAC_RA_RULESET_ORACLE             BC Set for AC Rules for ORACLE

GRAC_RA_RULESET_PSOFT                BC Set for AC Rules for PeopleSoft

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_APO           BC Set for AC Rules - SAP APO

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_BASIS        BC Set for AC Rules - SAP BASIS

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_CRM           BC Set for AC Rules for SAP CRM

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_ECCS         BC Set for AC Rules for SAP ECCS (Consolidations)

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_HR              BC Set for AC Rules for SAP HR

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_NHR           BC Set for AC Rules for SAP R3 less HR Basis

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_R3              BC Set for AC Rules for SAP R3

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_SRM           BC Set for AC Rules for SAP SRM

It is important to note that

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_R3 BC set contains all items from the following 3 BC sets

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_BASIS  (Basis Functions / Risks only)

     GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_HR   (HR/PY Functions / Risks only)

GRAC_RA_RULESET_SAP_NHR (Core ERP Functions / Risks Only (i.e. Sales, Procurement, FInance, etc.)

You would not activate the R3 BC set with any of the other 3 that I have listed as it would be create duplicate info in your rule set.

It is true that the ones you need to activate are truly dependent upon your situation.  Once you have completed your configuration and have decided which systems you will connect, then you can decide what RULESET BC sets you would activate.

I hope that this helps.

Hi Kevin,

The way you and me are explaining about the BC-sets are one and the same.

I mentioned the table name technically and you mentioend the descriptions. I assue you would have gone through with GRC300, there you can find the tables which I have mentioend in my previous post.
