Hello All,
Recently we built(Installed) a SAP BW system (ABAP) with NW7.3. I need to do a sps upgrade for the same from curent level sps0 to sps7. But we dont have Solman in our landscape, How can I do sps upgrade without solman MOPZ. Please suggest.
Regards,
Shiva
Hi Shivanand,
I am afraid that it is not possible to udpate without Solman system.
Alternate option:
Try to download each SP ( if possible) from SAP service Marketplace from the download basket without generating xml file.
Manually apply the patches using SPAM.
Hope this helps.

This worked in the good old days. Unfortunately, most, if not all, of the patches will end up in the "Approval needed" section of the download basket, and you need MOPZ to approve them.
You can try opening an incident with SAP under BC-UPG-OCS, and ask them to make the patches available to you.
MOPZ is used to generate a stack file. If you are not using a stack file then there is no need for MOPZ.
The traditional method of SP update can be used here where in you will manually download all the SP's including the dependencies involved and start the patching using SPAM/SIANT.
