Hi There,
I just activated NWBC (sicf) and http (smicm) on my system. My problem is everytime I login to the system(after key-in id/passwd) via NWBC4.0 its showing this message.
somehow i'm able to open and login via browser using the supplied URL. But each page on the menu showing "Service cannot reached"
Not sure if i missed something. Kindly advice.

hi ,
I managed to solve this problem.
Solution:
1. Add FQDN to Internet Explorer's Trusted site.
Open IE > Internet Option > Security > Sites.
2. Ensure the "SAP GUI Logon Description" in NWBC same as defined in SAP logon
I'm using NWBC4.0 PL13.

Most likely NWBC for Desktop is unable to launch SAP GUI for Windows and falls back to SAP GUI for HTML (webgui). Check that webgui is active and works.

Hi,
There are some services required to be activated from Internet Communication Framework (SICF).
Refer this link Portal 7.3 not working through NWBC 4.0.
Hope that might help you.
Thanks
KH

hey, maybe you should try to run an authorization trace and reproduce the error. maybe you are missing some authorization which is giving you the forbidden error.

Hi,
Maybe you should check the /sap/bc/nwbc service in transaction SICF.
Make sure the service is activated.
Best regards,
Shuai

Hi,
Check this link:
Have you activated the SICF service ?
Try to mention the url as below and try once:
http://<fully qualified host name>:<http port>/sap/bc/nwbc/nwbc_launch

Hi Sudhir Sadhu,
SICF , parameter(FQDN), and SMICM are already activated/configured.
issue1: NWBC via browser:
I'm able to open NWBC login page and key-in id/passwrd, after that, Control page appears but each page under the menu showing "Service cannot reached". *see image
issue2: NWBC4.0
I'm able to open NWBC login interface but after key-in id/passwrd, the logon fail. *see image
Hi,
I think all the services which are required are not properly activated.
