Output in Shipment not triggered directly

Hello Experts,

we are using a Batch Input (VT01n) to create  a Shipment with MODE  = "S". We always have to save the Shipment again after creation to generate the SHAD output. Why ?

Hi David,

the cause could be the fact that the batch input work in background and to print the system need to select the print option on foreground.

a soulition could be to set the dispatch time = 1 and schedule a job to print with report RSNAST00.

thank you for the quick answer. It's an EDI output, so there is no print options to be defined.

The output is missing but when I go into the shipment with VT02n, the output appears and is ready to be send....

Have you tried to add the messagge type creation on the batch input?
