How to get material number using ATINN and ATWRT values?

Hi,

Is there anyway to get the material number assigned to the characteristics number/ values?

I have a Material number, atinn and atwrt values. Here I need to fetch the material number of the particular characteristic value

Eg: Need IDNRK(Matnr) of characteristic name ZCOLOR and value RED.

I am getting material number(IDNRK) in STPO field using STLNR from MAST table.

But I could not able to map which atinn,atwrt belongs to that IDNRK.

Hi Ram,

A way to get material numbers based on characteristics and characteristic values is to use the transaction CL30N.

Just try it out and let me know in case of need.

I tried in CL30N by giving characteristics value, But it is running for a long time and not giving any result.

Hi Ram,

        Very likely you get no results because of the settings in 'Restrict Search to Selected Object Types'.
While within the CL30N transaction, let's go to the menu 'Extras' and then 'Restrict object types'. Here, check that 'Wrk' is selected. This would return material - plant.
