mail issue in solution manager 7.1

Hi,

When i tried to send mail from solman, it ends in error '806' says

'No delivery to <mail@domain.com>, invalid recipient address' .

I did the given steps:

1. SMTP settings were done in SCOT as in Production system

2. Background job for mail has scheduled in regular intervals.

3. IP of solman system already added in exchange server for relaying.

Still mails ate not sending even from SAP business workplace.

Please provide me a solution.

Check for ports and network access to your server and solman, is working in both directions.

Try to get a network trace and do the below test from yourself.

Also, check for relaying and dev_icm for more details.

Thanks for your prompt response. After maintainng the Default domain, I can send mails successfully.

Hi Cinu,

Please check the following

1) Domain is maintained correctly under SCOT configurations

2) Email ID is maintained for the userid in SAP

3) relaying is enabled for Solution manager server ip address

Hello Deepak,

1: Under SCOT-->SMTP-->SMTP connection , correct IP has provided & supported address type is already '*" .

2: Sender email ID is maintained in Dialog user.

3: Relaying enabled by system team.

Apart from this should I maintain anything else?
