No entry in table INOB

Hi Folks,

Can anyone tell me the significance of table INOB.

I have a material with batch determined but there is no entry for this material in INOB table .but for all other material in the delivery there is a corresponding entry in INOB.

The issue which iam facing is ,this particular material which doesnt have any entry in INOB table is not getting printed in Certificate of Conformace(FORM) and other materials in delivery are OK,ABAP Team debugged and suggested it is not getting printed becoz there is no entry for this material in INOB table.

Could you please share with me if you have any idea about this issue

1.Can u pls tell me how to check batch level like whether it is plant level or material level ?
2.When is this INOB table getting updated ?

If the material is related to Variant Configuration or any value is stored in MARC-STDPD (MRP3 view - field name Configurable Material), then I think, table INOB will get updated.  I am not sure on this.  Please check and update.
