AC 10.1 - Role search option in Repository Sync

I found a new option "Role Search" under Sync Job when checking Repository sync. Could someone explain why this is used?(attached Screen)

Hi,

under Repositry object sync job: Role search stands for:

Role Search Synch - This is required for enabling fuzzy-type role search for the Request Access, FIORI application.

Role information and the descriptions and attributes associated with Roles
such as:

Business processes and their descriptions

Actions and their descriptions

Functional area and their descriptions

Companies and their descriptions

Systems and their descriptions
