Is there a setting to retain the User Action logs in SAP GRC 10 System for x number of Days. Is it dependent on the ST03N Log settings

HI Mohan,

the initial question was for ST03N and Action usage.

Storage of data  in Action usage GRACACTUSAGE is diff. from ST03N. Moreover, Action usage job appends data to the existing contents. So, it would not be lost, through STAD update.

That option is always there but want to explore the default options in SAP GRC 10. Most of the time clients want out of the box solution

But the STAD Log is only stored for one day or maximum 3 days. How do we make it collect daily and store if for x number of Days

You can think of writing a custom program for this and store the data for desired number of days!

Can't  you?

Hi Selva,

For this you need to schedule the action usage job. Once you schedule this job you can view the logs in Reports and Analytica tab under Security Link->Action Usage by user, role and profile.

Hope this helps.

What I want to know if I activated the job Jan 2013 will hold the data till date or only look at the current data in ST03N Data. How long will hold the data. Will have 3 months of data or 1.5 year of data

when you activate the job, the information in the read interval section in STAD indicates the time frame of data you can see in your GRC system
