Hi,

I am facing a problem in one of our back end systems.

When a HR user performs some activity at his end, it is trying to connect to one of our GRC system!

I have only below mentioned configuration parameters defined target system:

1. 1000

2. 1001

3. 1002

4. 1089

5. 1090

None of the RT parameters are defined in GRC system.

I am not sure why target system is trying talk to GRC system. I think I am missing something or a parameter is still configured which I am unable to idenfity.

Can anybody advise me on this?

Regards,

Faisal

HI Faisal,

You also have to maintain the Risk Terminator Parameters in GRC system please check the below thread for your reference.

Faisal,

If you don't want to maintain RT parameters in GRC system that means you are not using the RT features. Then you should remove the RT parameters maintained in your plug-in system after which I think the issue must be resolved.

Neeraj,

Thanks for your reply.

I am also thinking the same!

But, for now this is resolved as explained above and would check if this comes again.

Do you have authorized the batch user for the connection between backend and grc? Did you test if the connection can be established?

Alessandro,

Thanks for your reply.

I noticed that the for param:1000, the GRC connector is maintained for System 1. However, the IP of System2 was maintained!

I changed and maintained the IP of system1 and maintained proper user with necessary authorizations. This RFC is working fine now.

But my question is, why this is happening in one of the HR activities ONLY?

I would like to investigate this and find out why and what is causing this to happen.

Can you please advise?

Regards,

Faisal
