How to consume SuccessFactors ODATA API in SAP PI

Dear All,

I am working on SAP HCM - Successfactors integration using SAP PI. To design POSITION INTEGRATION interface, i need to consume SuccessFactors ODATA API which are exposed in ATOM or JSON format as REST webservices.

I woul like to know the basic difference between ATOM(ATOM is built on XML) & JSON format.

Also if you can share me any blog related to... how to consume a RESTFUL webservice using SAP PI, it would be helpful.
