Hi sriram,
let me tell you steps which i will be going to follow.please correct me if i am wrong.
On source system -
1) i will run installation master of AIX (sapinst.exe)
2) i will select option Heterogeneous
3) onces my export is ready i will transfer it on target system
On target system
1) Again i will run installation master cd (windows)
2) And i will start import on target system
Thanks
Ramesh
Hello
There are certain pre-requisites for a heterogeneous system copy.
The most important requirement is that the person who is doing the migration should be an SAP certified migration consultant. You should read the system copy guide for additional tasks to be done on the source system before starting the export.
Read this SAP note
82478 - SAP system OS/DB migration
