Profile Parameters on SolMan 7.1 SPS 11

We started to set profile settings Solman. And exposing those or other parameters that would minimize the maximum swap, it turns out that the load on the I/O is too high and the system starts to slow down greatly. Promt, who faced what better profile settings set to what value?

Hi

There is an OSS note for some basic parameter, refer this note 1582842 - Profile parameters for SAP Solution Manager 7.1

But again you need to make your own decision for few parameter value for abap/buffersize etc. (may go for 800 MB or 1 GB based on your current system)

same problem with our solman SP11, it takes ages to start and the CPU is alwasy 50% used. I am trying to investigate what causing the CPU and slow start.

In fact, we planned to go for SP11, is there any known issue ?

You said in this thread "ages to start" and "CPU usage",  What is your OS/hardware ?

Its crappy windows/SQL .

Ok, Looks like that issue may be specific to Windows ?

We just finished SP11 update and didn't see any such issue & we are on  Unix/Oracle (favorite ?)
