sap OIF fpm 7.01: Bug "Specified Configuration Does not exist yet"

Former Member

Hi All.

I am in SAP FPM 7.01 working on OIF Floor plan.

When I Configure UIBB I am not able to save in Transport Request. It gives me an error "Specified Configuration Does not exist yet".

I am able to Configure UIBB in Local Object instead and it works fine.

Could you please explain why I am not able to save to my Transport Request.

Thanks

Santosh

Hi Hawkins,

Thanks for your suggestion.

I am able to save everything in Package/Transport request except when configuring UIBB which it asks to specify Package name. When I give my package its not going to next page where we Configure UIBB(Also giving the error which I specified above when trying to Click CHANGE). On giving local object, it allows me to configure UIBB.

Thanks

Hi,

The reason might be because of

1) Package which you're trying to assign may not exist.

2) You're not allowed to save config. into request as no task might be assigned to you.

Check the same and revert.

Thanks

Here is what I have done.

I have multiple FORM UIBBs and LIST UIBB within Component Configuration.

For List UIBB , goto-> SE80 and give Web Dynpro Component: FPM_LIST_UIBB where I see my List UIBB Configuration. I went to Object Directory and changed the package and assigned TR.

For FORM UIBB, the corresponding component is FPM_FORM_UIBB. I did the same thing just like above.

Thanks

Santosh.

Hi Santosh,

-

Go to FPM_OIF_COMPONENT and click on component configuration and select GO TO->OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY in the top menu and change the package name and which in turn ask's for request number.

Hope this will help you. Else revert.

Thanks
