Certificate handling

Hello,

Due to regulations of e.g. IATA it required that a certificate is linked to a material like a jet engine. This certificate is during the lifetime of the engine linked to it. But in some case it can happen that this engine is going for repair and, at a later stage, returns to the unrestricted stock but than with another Certificate. Is there a way to have both certificates linked to this engine, and how do we have to do this.

F.Y.I this engine is always stored as a separate batchnumber with a unique serialnumber.

Hi, You can use DMS module if implemented in to your system. I suppose engine must be having unique material code in the system. You can create DIR using CV01N and can attach the certificate there using material as object link.
