synchronize after deployment using 2 server processes

Hi all,

we have an NWDI NW04 SP16, deploying to a runtime system (also SP16) which has two server processes.

Now, after deploying a software component, users connected to server0 can display the newest version of the SC, but users connected to server1 still see the old version of it.

Last time we solved this by restarting server1, but is there another possibility to make sure server1 gets the changes directly after the deployment?

It actually should synchronize automatically. Did you already search for SAP Notes about this issue? If you did, but did not find anything, I suggest to create a customer message.

Hello Pascal,

yes, I was looking for notes but couldn't find one that fits to this problem.

As I cannot reproduce the error (I'm no developer and so I have nothing to deploy) I hoped someone else had seen the same situation and knew about it.

Anyway, thanks for your answer, I'll try finding out something by opening a message at SAP.
