Just want to know How it functions in the back ground, my business want to use and want to know how it functions in the background.

(Attribute 7 Is the one we want use)

These fields work as you like. You can use them for segmentation, you might create different types of customers and set the indicator here, then using BW you can get a report out if them.

You can also use this field also for the condition technique, where you add one or several of these attribute fields to the table you create, then you read the value and determinate for instance special price condition or perform a different text or even and output message depending on one value in these fields.

These are nothing but that, attributes and you then use'em as you wish, those can even work out for a development in case you need an extra condition in certain routine.

Thanks for quick response

There are different Attributes, Business has changed description to its requirement Like

Attribute 1 - Cross Docking

Attribute 2 - EDI ASN with chrg

Attribute 3 - INV SPLIT

Attribute 4 -  EDI ASN LID

Attribute 5 - CRHYSLER

Attribute 6 - CUST ID

Attribute 7 - Notification Level ( 01 inactive custromer, 02unknown, 03 n/a, 04 notification, 05 approval, 06 isir, 07 - ppap)

Now they want Add Additional Lines in the  Attribute 7.. And asking how it functions in the back ground.

Can you please explain if you have any information on this

Hello Kris, it works as I mentioned, the field is linked to the customer record, the function you want it to perform is up to you. There is nothing that runs with this fields in the standard way.

So, feel free to create those values in the attribute 7 and then you can use it in a z program or somewhere else. No restriction for using it. For what I see in the 1-6 attribs fields, mainly the ABAP team is taking them for certain functionalities.

There is no background performance of this field unless you configure it or ABAPers program it.
