In my MMC disp+work showing stopped.

Hi Vinay,

Is the problem with the IDES version in your Home PC? If it so, please also confirm what is the status of the Work Processes when the disp+work is showing stopped. IF the workprocesses are coming to an ENDED state, then the problem is with the Kernal. Some of the kernal files may be missing.

The work process might be comming to end due to some discrepencies in the disp+work.exe file which would be in the Kernel folder

/sapmnt/exe or /usr/sap/<SID>/<DVEBMGS<NR>>/exe

log on to the SYSTEM as administrator and

go to CMD

go to the above mentioned directory where the disp+work.exe is there.

run disp+work -v there and see what is the result.

This also happens due to some oracle db errors. So, first you search whether the exe file is there or not in the path mentioned. If the exe file is empty, just copy the exe file in to that from the sap kernal software. Or else, replace the entire kernal folder in your pc with new one.

GOTO ORACLE/ORA92/BIN and check for the file TNSLSNR.EXE may be it renamed to TNSLSNR.EXE~ so change it back to TNSLSNR.EXE and restart ur pc
