Content Server Installation

Hello colleagues,

I have create the user SAPCS and your home is /sapxxxx after create user i download this files,

apr-1.5.1.tar.gz

httpd-2.4.9.tar.gz

apache_httpd-2.4.9.tar

When copy the file in home user when execute this command I have this error,

hostname:/sapxxxx/httpd-2.4.9 # ./configure -prefix=/sapxxxx/ --enable-mods-shared=most --with-mpm=prefork

checking for chosen layout... Apache

checking for working mkdir -p... yes

checking for grep that handles long lines and -e... /usr/bin/grep

checking for egrep... /usr/bin/grep -E

checking build system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

checking host system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

checking target system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

configure:

configure: Configuring Apache Portable Runtime library...

configure:

checking for APR... no

configure: error: APR not found.  Please read the documentation.

Can you help me?

I download the patch but when execute the command, i have a error,

Hi Deepak,

I am also need your help for DMS.

I need to install content server 6.40 on hp-ux 11.31

Please let me know what are the users required for Content server and their home directory.

how to install apache server for hp-ux??

Please refer to steps for compilation in below SAP note

664384 - Generation info for Apache Web server for SAP Content Server

Looks like Apache 2.4 may not work. Please try with Apache 2.0

I have checked this SAP Note you have mentioned it is not available.
