Recurring jobs from SolMan

Hello @all,

we have set up our Solution Manager and connected about 50 SAP systems for monitoring. In some systems, we now have a job with the name "/ SDF / UPL_PERIODIC_EXT_JOB" which is apparently triggered by the Solution Manager and aborts in satelite system. How can we disable this? The reason for the termination is the following message: Authorization for Use of SCOV LITE missing.

That job is created when you activate UPL (Usage & Procedure Logging) on a system.

You could deactivate it using the procedure from the here under note

Activate the Extractor framework

All needed setup on the managed system will be done automatically

1. Start transaction "Solman_Workcenter"

2. Select workcenter "Solution Manager Administration"

3. Select the view "Infrastructure"

4. Select the application "Extractor Framework"

5. Filter the name by *UPL*

6. Select entry "Custom Code UPL Extractor"

7. Change to edit mode

8. Activate the data collection
