Hi All,

We need to provide or set up the CCMS monitoring for the most critical SM21 logs related to database .

Further, let me know if anyone can provide the list of SM21 logs related to Database, which will affect the system availability.

For Example ==>ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does

Let me know your valuable suggestions or solutions

Regards

Ram

Hello Ram,

you can find all syslog messages in the transaction SE92, the syslog messages for database are BY messages. But the better way to monitor a database is DBACOCKPIT as Daniel has already mentioned. Please have a look at the note:

You can add the database you want to monitor with transaction DBCO. This way, you can access database errors with DBACOCKPIT. Another possibility would be technical monitoring with Solution Manager.
