Quantity issue in Transfer order

Hi Team,

I need  little help for below scenrio.

Material ABC1234 is having BUM Base Unit of Measure as EA

                                         Sales Unit of measure            as FT2

Unit conversion is 1665 FT2 = 100EA

While I am creating sales order with qty 2 FT2.with confirmed 2 FT2

indelivery also creating with 2 FT2

but while I am creating TO, the qty is showign 1.998 FT2 & confirmed the same also.

Can any one tell me  any SAP Note or any config/ master data can help me on this.

Hi Pitabash,

Due to the conversions which take place during the TO creation (sales UOM -> Base UOM -> Sales UOM) it is always advisable to ensure that the base UOM is the smallest UOM defined for a material, if it is not, then these type of rounding errors are common.

Notes 5555 and 8818 discuss this further
