MATMAS is standard IDOC?.

Can anybody elabrate more on MATMAS?

Hi,

matmas is not an IDOC but a message type

matmas03 is an idoc (standard one)

you can send material information with it

how to send matmas

you can see all in transaction We60

just type matm* and see all standard matmas

Is this IDOCS from material master table?.

Can u please elabrate on MATMAS05 and other idocs comes in this series.

How many MATMAS IDOCS are there?.

idocs are not from material master tables. the data u can find in the materail master view can be help in idoc for transacting with external systems also.....for this prupsoe we use idocs....other example of idocs are cremas, orders01/02/03 etc...u can check the trancation we30 for creation

yes it takes data from material master table when it's being generated

the idea is the higher numer (05) the more fields the IDOC has

so just use the one with the highest number to have them all

Hi,

You can see the Idocs by WE60 and its documentation also.

In that search criteria enter the MATMAS or MAT* then you can able to see the list of others also.

Other wise WE82 , click on Basic type , so that you can see the available Basic types..
