error in task gateway service for work flow

Hiie All,

I'm facing issue with task gateway service, ie..,

I have configured task gateway service and activated the service /iwpgw/taskprocessing by following the below link.

but while executing the TaskCollection service , i'm facing the below error .

message xml:lang="en">RFC call was not successful because of system failure 'Function module "/IWWRK/WF_TGW_QUERY_TASKS" not found.'.</message>

First thing is why the IWPGW service is calling IWWRK component (/IWWRK/WF_TGW_QUERY_TASKS) ?

Second is I have configured system alias as trsuted RFC to ECC system .

Pl suggest ..,

Hi Lokeshwar,

As the Error Message clearly says that RFC  not present in the system,

can you check in your ECC system whether that RFC exists?

if that does't then IW_BEP would't be present OR required version of IW_BEP woul't be there.

As Goutham suggested you need IW_BEP in your backend. Quoting from SAP Help.

Configuring the Task Gateway Service - SAP NetWeaver Gateway - SAP Library

Installing the Service

To use the Task Gateway service, your SAP NetWeaver Gateway Hub system must be deployed with the PGW and BEP add-ons.

To support the Business Workflow, the BEP add-on must be deployed on the SAP ERP system.

Then the problem should be with System Alias.  When you registered this service in /IWFND/MAINT/_SERVICE what system alias was used? may be you can give a screenshot of that system alias?

Hi Lokeshwar,

/IWWRK/WF_TGW_QUERY_TASKS belongs to IW_BEP component,

one of the prerequisite for using task gateway  is that your ECC should have IW_BEP component.

i guess in your case Iw_bep is not there in your ECC please check.
