how many palces a developed object stored in SAP STMS?

if any one can let me know the concept of shared file in TMS??

Hi Sred,

When you release a request it creates 2 files 1)cofile 2) datafile,these files gets created in /usr/sap/trans/cofile & /usr/sap/trans/data directories respectively.

when your DEV system is Domain controller.then  dev will have shared  accessbilty of QAS& PRD.if we change anything in dev stms it will affect in QAS& PRD.

You can make the /usr/sap/trans in DEV  shared access to QAS & PRD so that you don't need to physically move the data files & cofiles across the system.

Sir lot of Thanks...i got the point
so developed object are at 4 places on 3 of servers(3 sys landscape)+in trans directory
and co files +data files are shared with all systems in STMS
and TR has reference of this file??
plz let me know if i am wrong
