Info cube / DSO conversion to HANA Optimization

Dear All,

we're moving to Hana in coming future..as a pre-requisite, we're going to do data flow migration from 3.x to 7.x first.

and we're planning to make cube or DSO Hana Optimized.

say my data flow is like this.

Cube

  I

update rules

  I

DSO2

  I 

update rules

  I

DSO1

to make my CUBE hana optimized, I came to know that there should be a transformation between DSO2 and CUBE.

do I need to migrate all my below layers(unitl Data Source) to 7.x ? it this is mandatory?

Kindly help me out on this.

Dear Ratnakar ,

Let me clear you first on this

You can Migrate to hana data base only when you have 7.3sp5 version not below that, so by default when you convert all these flows to 7.3 you will have no more update rules...... so i hope that clears your doubt

Thanks for your reply Santhosh,

My question is : currently we are in BI 7.0 version and using mixed data flows(like 3.x and 7.0) .

Now we are planning to go HANA migration ,so we are planning to go DMO option for technical and hana migration.While going on this approach is there any show stoppers or any known issues or any pre-requisites for this.
