Error RFC TREX

Hi again,

This is my third post from yesterday, sorry, but I have a lot of problems after a complicate system copy from the production system to the test system.

Now the problem is in the TREX. When I try to logon in the url of my sap test system:

http://host.domain:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/esh_admin_ui_component?sap-client=002&sap-language=EN

I get the next error:

Error in the RFC communication: RFC destination TREX_LP5 does not exist. (TREX_LP5). This is the rfc of the production system.

In the test system exists the RFC TREX_LT5 and it works properly. The question is: where do I have to set the TREX to point to this RFC?

Regards.

Hi Maximino

Is the Test system also pointing to production Trex system ? or you are maintaining separate Trex system? once your system copy completed you have to change the all production RFC 's to test system

In the test system exists the RFC TREX_LT5 and it works properly. The question is: where do I have to set the TREX to point to this RFC?

Normally the SAP DBM usage you can define the RFC in transaction code SES_ADMIN

for what propose you are using the Trex ?

Hi Sriram, we have completed all the post-task of system copy, and now the test system has the correct rfc's. In fact exists the rfc for TREX (TREX_LT5) but the problem is when we try to use the url above we get the message that is pointing to the  production system rfc (TREX_LP5)

In transaction SES_ADMIN not configured any rfc

TREX is kept by another group. I don't know why the use it.

Regards.

Hi Maximino

Just refer the SCN link for Trex configuration part with screen shot

"Create a connection to SAP ECC605"

Once the configuration are completed you have to do the full index form transaction SES_ADMIN
