PS CN33

Hi guru,

I need just some clarification about how works CN33

This is my scenario

Time T0: I have a WBS BOM with materials that need to be procured in advance. I run Cn33 and I assign these materials to activity A

Time T1: there is a change in my WBS BOM. I have added a HALB component with its BOM. When I run CN33, the system add this HALB to activity B but deleted the raw materials that I add in istant T0

Is it correct? I understand that CN33 works only on the changes to WBS BOM ...

Please, could you help me?

Hi,

Could you please check activity A and let me know whether your newly added component HALB is reflecting on activity A or not.? Can you see all materials prior to addition of HALB on activity A.? Or the behavior on activity A is same as that of activity B.?

I am not sure but there are few points that you need to check.

1. Whether your newly added component is externally procured.? Just check MM03 settings for all previously added materials and newly added material HALB.?

2. Just check whether reference point for both the activities are same or not.?

Hi Amit, thanks for your answer

The reference points are different.

If I check activity after the second transfer, I don't see Raw materials.

Just for your benefit, when I set transfer rule in CN33, I fill the field reference point with *.

Maybe could be this the mistake? Could you please explain me how works CN33? maybe I don't understand

system behaviour should be only to add the new item or changes you made to BOM

BOM

mat 1   act 1

mat 2   act 1

so after CN33

T0   added mat 1 to act 1

                 mat 2 to act 1

now change BOM

mat 1   act 1

mat 3   act 2

Rerun CN33

T1   remove mat 2 from act 1

       add mat 3 to act 2

can't say what is in your SAP system - also not sure the steps you are taking in the intermediate screen where you can manually change standard

I am talking about standard SAP - adopting all proposed changes by the system
